A little about me…
I am a stylist working in a great boutique salon in Brookfield, IL called The Shop | Salon & Style House. I love how friendly and relaxed the atmosphere in the salon is and I know you will too!
I have been passionately working behind the chair for 15+ years. Over this period of time I have grown to love working with women and customizing their color & being their stylist to achieve their custom hair goals while keeping in mind how valuable their time is. I continue my education yearly to make sure I keep my skills precise and current. Additionally, I work with a business coach to uphold and provide the best in-salon experience for clients. Some classes include becoming a Certified Master colorist with Redken, Certified Master Balayage artist with Artego, traveling to NYC Moroccanoil Academy and receiving a certification in a master haircutting class.
I greatly enjoy offering a personalized consultation each and every visit and to see if you would like to keep, tweek, or change anything. I am always up for giving you a new look while keeping in mind what your home personal maintenance looks like. When clients are in my chair, I want to emphasize that each client feels heard and appreciated.
When you arrive at the salon you will find a lot of available paid parking right in front. When you enter into the salon you will be greeted warmly and I will bring you to my station while I ask how your day is going and if you would like a refreshment. From there I will get us situated so we can begin our consultation. I take great care in hearing what hair goals you would like to achieve and while we consult together about your custom desired look, just know I appreciate picture references to make sure we are on the same page visually as well as verbally. Just know, I will record your formula in my system so it is ready each an every visit with me.
Please note that while you're in the salon you will have access to Wi-Fi, phone/tablet/laptop chargers and beverages while you’re with me to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
I will make sure you leave the salon feeling not only refreshed and beautiful but I set you up with all you need to achieve and maintain your personalized look at home.
When I am not in the salon I enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood with my Fiancé or sitting together (and our cat if she feels like it) & finding a movie, t.v. show or game. I love spending quality time with our families and making new memories. You will also find me listening to music while I cook or meal prep for the week ahead. I am also always searching for my next great book as I am an avid reader.
